Our application is designed to accurately determine the position of the sun and moon anywhere in the world, providing invaluable assistance in determining the time of sunrise and sunset, twilight periods, day length, moon phase, and much more.

This program enables users to predict the optimal time for outdoor photography, including capturing breathtaking landscapes and nature scenes. Both professional photographers and beginners alike appreciate the advantages of shooting during the "golden" and "blue" hours. The golden hour occurs just after sunrise and before sunset, when the sun sits low on the horizon, creating a warm and enchanting light. The blue hour takes place shortly before sunrise and after sunset, when the sun's position just below the horizon produces cooler tones.

For those in the process of selecting a home, it is essential to have knowledge of where the sun will be located at different times throughout the day and year. This application showcases solar path projections for different times of the day and throughout the year. By visualizing when the sun will illuminate different parts of a property, as well as when it may be obstructed by nearby objects causing shade, users can make well-informed decisions.

The program also proves useful for calculating peak activity times for animals and fish based on the position of the sun and moon in the sky. This includes determining when the moon is at its upper or lower points in its orbit relative to the observer's position, as well as when it is midway between these points (refer to John Alden Knight's "Solunar theory").
